Symptomatic management of burning in various peptic disorders associated w/ nausea & vomiting, GERD, reflux esophagitis, non-ulcer dyspepsia, gastroparesis & idiopathic hiccup or any other peptic disease accompanied by nausea &/or vomiting.
1 cap daily. Duodenal ulcer 1 cap once daily. Gastric ulcer 1 cap once daily for 4-8 wk. Reflux oesophagitis 1 cap once daily in the morning for 4-8 wk. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome Initially 1 cap daily, may be increased or decreased as needed using measurements of gastric acid secretion as guide.
Avoid prolonged use. Elevation of prolactin levels. W/draw if patient develops galactorrhea &/or gynecomastia. GI disorders. Renal or hepatic dysfunction. Do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking the medication. Not recommended in pregnancy & lactation, childn.
